Abstract: The article discusses the book by Leon Chernyak and Mitchell Rocklin “Covenant and Metaphysics” (Philadelphia-Jerusalem, 2024) in the context of Pascal’s dilemma “God of Abraham, God of Isaac, God of Jacob, not of philosophers and scholars” and attempts to draw attention to both the specifics of Blaise Pascal’s formulation of the question of faith and reason among others, and to the book “Covenant and Metaphysics” in the context of this dilemma, which arose in this form precisely in the New Age. To this end, an attempt is made to trace the formation of the philosophical conception of the book in the previous works of Leon Chernyak.
