Abstract: A fragment from Berdyaev’s book “Existential Dialectics of the Divine and the Human”, chapter VII “War”. The philosopher reflects on the dual nature of war, its connection with violence, heroism and the spiritual state of society, as well as on the problem of force and violence, criticizing the cult of force and considering the possibility of overcoming wars through the spiritual transformation of man.
