The views of M. Heidegger as presented by A. P. Ogurtsov (author’s comments to the article “On the criticism of culture as a value”)

Abstract: The article outlines the understanding of A.P. Ogurtsov’s views on Heidegger. The author problematizes them, seeing duality in Heidegger’s interpretation of the evolution of European humanity: it turns out that the evolution of European humanity is twofold: on the one hand, it goes in the wrong place, since God (and thereby being) is forgotten, on the other hand, through the “self-manifestation of being”, through verbal and technical creativity, through projectivity and care, oddly enough, evolution proceeds correctly. A possible explanation for this duality is proposed. In addition, the author sets out his understanding of the crisis of our civilization, comparing it with the ideas of Heidegger.
