Abstract: The pursuit outlined in this discourse endeavors to unveil a method to articulate entities within the foremost realm of Aristotle’s metaphysical discourse — an intricate formulation delineating the ineffability of designating an anonymous substrate. According to the Stagirite, the act of sensory perception transcends mere engagement of the five sensory organs; it encompasses the overarching sensation (soul) that perceives immediately and holistically. The observer perceives simultaneously through all modes, devoid of any singular sign of vision, thereby beholding entities within a certain horizon of perspectives. This perpetual motion, forever incomplete and devoid of form, engenders a complex and interdependent relationship between the substrate and the spatial entity, each manifested in accordance with diverse metaphysical algorithms. This reciprocal conditioning opposition is profoundly nuanced, existing in the realm of being, surpassing the confines of subject-object logical constructs. The antithesis (substrate) perpetually presents itself in such a manner as to elude explicit explication of its opposition. Yet, in our relentless pursuit to grasp this opposition, the substrate thrusts forth a different conceptual framework of quantity, obscuring itself while simultaneously scrutinizing… and through what it opposes, so as to remain perpetually veiled. Within Aristotle’s conceptual framework lie concepts that reinterpret metaphysical scenarios into ontological ones. Concepts such as το μη έόν, τὸ ὂν ᾗ ὂν, τό τὶ ἤν εἶναι. The being that exists as it is and was (τό τὶ ἤν εἶναι), existing inherently by its own presence (τὸ ὂν ᾗ ὂν), seems to assert its existence in defiance of that which is not and never was. We are confronted with a metaphysical essence (substrate) existing in the liminal state of μὴ ὄν (apparent, present, precarious, uncertain, unverified, and unreliable reality), ensnared within an indivisible unit of measurement of universally accepted quantities. The countable disintegrates into a unit of counting everything arbitrary and spontaneous, disorganized and implicit, collapsing in such a manner that no room remains within the contracted measures for alternative scenarios of existential formation. Consequently, this ontological paradigm shift engenders forgetfulness regarding the origins of indivisible units of measurement and quantification, principles and norms, the very essence of metaphysical essences (metaphysics); erasing the memory of how quantities and concepts, principles and ideas, temporal-topological and phenomenological scenarios, and new realms of knowledge come to “be discovered.”
