Abstract: When we think about experiment’s ethics on living organisms, we inevitably come to ethical questions about their being “good” or “bad”. It would be “good” if with consent, bad, if forced. What if it is useful, or vital? We will sacrifice one, but the others will survive. Humanity has been faced with such questions for a long time. After Darwin’s theory formation, we realized that animals are genetically very close to us, people began to think about the ethics of involving animals in scientific experiments. New discoveries in plant biology and the study of their behavior take plants into new subjectivity or agency. Is it ethical to use plants in experiments, how should we feel about it, and what can be done about it? So, there are some reflections.
