Nuances or In Search of Difficult Solutions

Abstract: Unstable, in many ways not strictly defined social subjects are an obvious reality nowadays. Social groups today have less and less «clear», unambiguous features. On the contrary, ownership of many different traits prevents the formation of «sharp corners», sharp features of the portrait. Why, however, does our contemporary prefer to be guided by unambiguous criteria and assessments corresponding to the rather rigid-static structural organization of society? After all, in this way we often participate in the emergence of social gaps and in turn become the hostages of public confrontation. Can we hope to abandon such a strategy in favour of a more flexible and balanced one? The approach in terms of «level», «amount» of a particular characteristic, as well as the position of the moderator of the dialogue in this sense, seem to help our contemporary.
